Global Housing Technology Challenge India (GHTC India) initiative - foundation laid by PM

Six Light House Projects (LHP) consisting of about 1,000 houses each with physical & social infrastructure facilities is being constructed at six places across the country over a period of 12 months. Modern construction practices from countries such as France, Germany and Canada would be adopted.



Component 1 : Grand Expo and Conference on Alternative and Innovative Construction Technologies
Component 2 :  Identifying and Mainstreaming Proven Demonstrable Technologies for the construction of Lighthouse Projects 
Component 3 : Identifying Potential Future Technologies for Incubation and Acceleration Support through ASHA - India (Affordable Sustainable Housing Accelerators)

Earth's rotational speed
